The COVID-19 quarantine has caused the following temporary changes in the Village Office. In an effort to help stop the spread of the virus and help keep everyone safe.

NEW BASE RATES ARE:
Village Sewer base rate $100.00 plus if over 5,000 gallons $0.55 per 100 gallons Village Water base rate $ 30.00 plus if over 5,000 gallons $0.18 per 100 gallons Outside Water base rate $ 47.00 plus if over 5,000 gallons $0.35 per 100 gallons .
LT2 rates will not be affected and remains at $6.50 per quarter with all usage at $0.04 per hundred gallons.
The Village of Jordan is now accepting applications for an immediate opening in the DPW.
The successful candidate must possess a current CDL class B license or have the ability for obtain a permit immediately.
Good math skills are necessary, and duties include all aspects of DPW work associated with streets, drainage, parks, pool, water & sewer.

Part-time, non-competitive Police Officer.
The Village of Jordan seeks qualified candidates for a position as a part-time, non-competitive police officer. Certification as a Police Officer by the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Office of Municipal Police is required; DCJS Phase I candidates seeking employment to fulfill Phase II requirements need not apply. Prior experience or current employment as a police officer is preferred. The position entails providing law enforcement services in a rural village setting.
