Village of Jordan - Memorial Day Parade - 2022

Donation Information...

Happy Spring! The days are longer, the flowers are blooming, and the birds are singing their sweet songs. It’s the time of year that we welcome back the sun and prepare for our 2022 Memorial Day Parade. We are excited for the return of smiling faces lining our streets as we honor those who have served. Please join us as we remember and honor all the brave heroes who served to hold our flag high. In memory of many, In honor of all.

Jordan has been host to an annual Memorial Day Parade since the late 1800’s. On Memorial Monday, many families come to view our parade which has become a time-honored family tradition. This Parade is considered one of the largest in Central New York. The Memorial Day Committee is always seeking organizations and businesses to participate in the Parade of Bands to honor our veterans.  The Committee welcomes marching units, motorized units, floats, and more.

If you, your business, or organization is interested in participating, please contact Ken Bush, at 689-9301 or kenbushjr@gmail.com.

The Memorial Day Parade is organized by volunteers and is funded solely by donations. A little known fact by many enjoying the parade is the majority of bands that come to march require payment.   ALL donations are strictly used for the payment of visiting bands. Please help us continue this amazing community tradition.

Please help us spread the word that the Parade of Bands is not free to host.    All donations are for the payment of bands. Once again, the Committee is offering three convenient ways to donate to the Parade of Bands:

By mail:  Please make checks payable to Memorial Day – Jordan

and send to:

Village of Jordan Memorial Day Committee
